Psychotherapy for the Journey Within

Welcome

The choice to seek therapy must include an acknowledgment of suffering, requiring we listen to and acknowledge that inner cry for help.

I am grateful that you are here.

While the pain you feel is uncomfortable at best and excruciating at worst, it possesses innate wisdom. The desire to engage in therapy is a noble one and not for the faint of heart. Taking the steps to find a therapist is filled with strength and courage. You have made it this far in your journey.

Whatever the reasons that led you here,

I welcome you.

Supporting my clients in their journey as they find, welcome, and nurture the lost, hurt parts of themselves is at the heart of my work. These wounded parts may be lost and forgotten or screaming in terror. It is often these wounds or the “breaking through” of these wounds that one seeks therapy for. I work with clients to discover, explore and nurture the unhealed wounds they carry; to reconnect with an inner sense of knowing, connection, and peace to guide their journey; and to heal and let go of stories they no longer need to carry in order to live a life of inner cohesion, peace and vitality. I believe painful experiences are great teaching opportunities, invitations from life to engage with ourselves in a deeper way, allowing ourselves the opportunity to bring light to our darkness, to transform our pain into healing medicine.

To support my clients through this inner journey, I utilize the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, an experiential, body-based modality that supports clients as they discover, reconnect, and bring healing to the hurt parts of themselves. On these pages you will find additional information on my approach and how to contact me if you are interested in pursuing work together.

I appreciate you taking the time to read through my offerings and would love to hear from you if anything here resonates with you. Please see my contact page on how to reach me.
